Rise Above the Common Herb,Look Far Ahead:Interview Records on Mr.Liu Dunyuan's Academic Contributions and Thought Heritage

2018年6月24日是山东大学考古学科创始人刘敦愿先生的百年诞辰,山东大学举行"刘敦愿先生百年诞辰纪念暨考古学术研讨会"。会议期间,笔者邀请刘敦愿先生的七位学生围绕先生的治学理念、先生对田野考古的认识、实践及山东大学田野考古历程、先生在考古专业师资、课程、文物标本室建设等方面的努力、先生在美术考古或美术史上的学术地位及其"美术考古"的学科定位、先生在个人研究中对传世文献的利用及考古学与文献史学的关系、先生的思想遗产及其当代启示等方面内容进行了访谈。通过本次访谈,基本廓清了刘敦愿先生的主要学术贡献,明晰了先生对山东大学考古学科的影响,明确了先生学术思想的启示意义,同时探讨了与考古学学科相关的若干问题。

June 24th 2018 was the centennial birthday of MR.Liu Dunyuan,the founder of Archaeology of Shandong University.Therefore,in memory of him,the"Centennial of Mr.Liu Dunyao's Birth and Archaeology Academic Seminar"was held by the University.During the seminar,seven students of Mr.Liu Dunyuan were invited in an interview to talk about him in the following topics:his academic ideas;his understanding and practice of field archaeology and the course of field archaeology in Shandong University;his academic standing in art archaeology or art history and his disciplinary orientation of art archaeology;his efforts on the constructions of faculty,curriculum system and the showroom of archaeological samples;his personal researches on the use of survival documents and the relationship between archaeology and historical philology;his thought heritage and contemporary enlightenment.The interview had clarified Mr.Liu's main academic contributions,influence on the archaeology of Shandong University,and the enlightenment of his academic thought.Also,some issues related to the archaeology were discussed.
