有关尊严问题的论述,是习近平法治思想的重要内容之一。习近平法治思想中有关尊严的论述的核心要素可从尊重、体面、平等三个维度进行提炼。“尊重”是在国家层面上对人的尊严的尊崇和承诺,包括尊重人的主体地位;尊重和保障人权、权利;尊重人的意愿和选择;尊重人的行为和创造。“体面”代表着社会生活中人的尊严的显现与外观,它包括体面生活、体面劳动、体面职业等方面,寄寓着法律和制度上对人尊严地生存的维护与保障。“平等”是指确立人人享有尊严的宪法原则。在尊严与平等的关系上,尊严是平等和平等原则得以存在的基础和前提,平等原则则从人的地位、权利、机会的平等上维护与保障人的尊严。不仅如此,习近平法治思想还通过实质平等的论述,强调对特定人群尊严的倾斜保护。

Dignity is an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,which can be summarized by referring to respect,decency and equality.Dignity is the reverence and promises to the people made by the state including the respect of people’s position as masters of the country,respect and assurance of people’s human rights and other rights,respect of people’s will and choice,and respect of people’s act and creation.Decency is the manifestation of people’s dignity in social life,including a decent life,working and job;it manifests the safeguard of human existence with dignity by the law and institutions.Equality means the Constitutional principle that all people should enjoy dignity.With regard to the relationship between dignity and equality,dignity is the basis and premise of the existence of the equality and principle of equality,while the latter secures people’s dignity to ensure their equal status,rights and opportunity.In addition,in Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,more narrations are made on substantive equality to emphasize particular protection on the dignity of special groups of people.
