China’s Contribution to the Building of a Green Silk Road

绿色丝绸之路是"一带一路"建设的重要内容,高度契合共建"一带一路"国家绿色发展需求,在应对气候变化、保护生物多样性、推进绿色投融资等方面,与联合国2030年可持续发展目标全面兼容。通过搭建"一带一路"绿色发展的政策对话和沟通平台、环境知识和信息平台、技术交流和转让平台,绿色丝绸之路建设已取得务实成效。中国在全球环境治理体系中主动作为,也为推动全球可持续发展贡献了中国智慧和中国方案。展望未来,绿色丝绸之路将持续支持共建国家绿色低碳复苏,深度融入全球环境治理体系,携手共建国家积极应对气候变化,服务"一带一路"高质量发展。

An important part of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI),the building of a Green Silk Road is consistent with the call for green development in BRI countries and is fully compatible with the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in terms of tackling climate change,protecting biodiversity and promoting green finance.Major results have been achieved in building a Green Silk Road on BRI green development platforms for policy dialogue and communication,environmental knowledge and information,as well as technology exchange and transfer.China has taken the initiative to improve the global environmental governance system and contributed to global sustainable development with Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions.In the future,the Green Silk Road will continue to support BRI countries in areas such as realising a green and low-carbon recovery,deeply integrating into the global environmental governance system,and actively tackling climate change as part of high-quality development of the BRI.
