Since the age of great geographical discovery, the world has gradually become linked into one,and globalization has been the trend. At the end of the 20 th century, the disintegration of the Soviet Union ended the"bipolar world",and when countries that were originally cut off from the global economic system opened up their markets, integration of global economic structure was finally realized under the leadership of the United States. However, alongside the increased production efficiency brought by globalization, greater inequities have been brewing, fanning a tide of antiglobalization that has manifested in various forms. After the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, globalization may be heading towards"regionalization".
