Cultivating children’s early reading interest and improving children’s reading ability have a positive impact on children’s physical and mental health development.Through reading,children can not only enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons,but also exercise their thinking and promote the development of their minds.In particular,carrying out picture book reading activities is an important way to implement early reading education for children.Picture books are deeply loved by children because of their exquisite production,rich content and rich colors,which are in line with children’s psychological cognitive characteristics.Preschool teachers should actively explore the educational value of picture book reading,review and implement picture book reading activities from a diversified perspective,so as to realize the diversity of reading content and forms,diversify children’s cognitive thinking,and enhance children’s cognitive ability and language ability,lay the foundation for the continued development of young children.
