The single-parent family model often brings many negative effects on students’life,study,behavior and psychology.Therefore,the mental health education of single-parent family students has received great attention from all walks of life.This article will focus on the mental health problems of students from single-parent families in the lower grades of primary schools,discuss the manifestations of students’mental health problems,analyze the causes of mental health problems,and propose strategies for mental health education for students from single-parent families in lower grades in primary schools,hoping to provide a reference for relevant educators.
