Create educational concepts,emphasizing the cultivation of innovative thinking and creative ability,and being able to"use both hands and brains"for creative learning.This paper takes"the application of geographic information technology in disaster prevention and mitigation"as an example,and uses the concept of creative education to cultivate students’geographic core literacy.Through comprehensive analysis and application of geographic information technology,students are stimulated to create interest and cultivate innovative thinking.By leading students to practically use geographic information technology to make visual thematic maps,students can develop their creative ability.
