As an important mathematical thinking method,the idea of combining number and shape has a wide range of applications in mathematics teaching and student problem-solving.To use the thinking method of combining number and shape well,teachers need to master its characteristics and principles of application,focusing on teaching mathematics concepts,improving students’ability to solve problems,cultivating students’mathematical thinking,and stimulating students’interest in learning mathematics,pay attention to mining,infiltrating and refining the combination of numbers and shapes in teaching,in order to promote the improvement of mathematics teaching effectiveness and the development of students’core literacy in mathematics.
