Reading is an important part of junior middle school English learning,not only because reading accounts for more than 30%of junior middle school English learning,but also because it is one of the most important ways to obtain information and a means to measure students’English level.Due to the disadvantages of traditional teaching methods,students’English learning effect is not satisfactory.Therefore,mastering and using middle school English teaching strategies is very important for junior middle school English teachers.This paper will explore junior middle school English reading teaching strategies,in order to help students develop good reading habits,establish self-confidence,better learn and master English,and improve their comprehensive English quality.
