从目前情况来看,小学生的英语学习情况并不乐观。在实际教学过程中还存在一些问题。最典型的问题是学生对英语学习的兴趣不高,大部分学生不能够积极参与英语学习。鉴于此,部分教师开始思考应该用什么样的教学方法来提高小学生学习英语的积极性,游戏教学法就是在这样的背景下诞生的。玩是儿童的天性,在英语课堂教学中适当引入游戏教学,不仅能使整个课堂气氛更加轻松活跃,而且能真正达到"寓教于乐"的目的,让学生快乐学习,这符合我国当前倡导的素质教育的基本要求。为了更好地保证小学英语教学质量,本文主要总结了游戏教学法在小学英语教学中的应用优势,并提出了具体的应用措施,希望能为学生今后的英语学习打下基础。
