依托词块理论,发展学生英语写作素养

Developing students’ English writing quality based on Lexical Chunk Theory

词块理论是对词汇教学的创新与补充,更加关注词汇在语境中的作用,将音、形、义进行整合,帮助学生提升语用能力。依托词块理论的初中英语词汇教学,不再是对单个单词的理解与记忆,而是强调语块的整体把握,在英语阅读与写作中意义非凡。在初中英语教学实践中,笔者借助于词块理论,将之与写作教学相融合,来发展学生英语写作素养。

Lexical Chunk Theory is an innovation and supplement to vocabulary teaching. It pays more attention to the role of vocabulary in context,integrates sound,form and meaning,and helps students improve their pragmatic competence. Based on Lexical Chunk Theory,junior middle school English vocabulary teaching is no longer the understanding and memory of single words,but emphasizes the overall grasp of lexical chunks,which is of great significance in English reading and writing. In the practice of junior high school English teaching,the author combines Lexical Chunk Theory with writing teaching to develop students’ English writing literacy.
