复兴21世纪的共产主义是西方左翼学者的主要目标。巴迪欧始终将问题的核心放在如何看待共产主义这一基本问题上,在一定程度上回归了马克思和恩格斯创立共产主义的初衷。但是,巴迪欧虽然对共产主义做了观念和行动的双重注解,却主要诉诸共产主义观念的复兴。他所论述的共产主义以一种激进化姿态延续了关于共产主义与资本主义的对抗性逻辑,为保持观念和行动的内在张力留有阐释空间,但始终没有通达历史性这一本质维度。即是说,他依然没有找到一条通往现实的可能性方案,这不仅暴露出其激进姿态下的保守立场,还将导致其共产主义理论终会沦为一种空想。

The revival of communism in the 21st century is the main goal of Western radical left-wing scholars.Badiou always put the core problem on the basic issue of how to treat communism.To a certain extent,he returned to the original intention of Marx and Engels's founding of communism.However,Badiou has made double annotations on the idea and action of communism,but weakened the action,mainly resorting to the revival of communism idea.His exposition of communism in a radical attitude continues the logical thinking about the antagonistic relationship between communism and capitalism,leaving room for interpretation to maintain the internal tension of ideas and actions,but it has never reached the essential dimension of history.That is to say,because he put aside the important perspective of understanding communism from historical materialism,his road to the revival of communism will eventually become a fantasy.
