关系性身体观:吉登斯生活政治学的理论基点

Relational Body View:The Theoretical Basis of Giddens’ Life Politics

身体作为社会理论中的重要维度,在20世纪70年代的西方社会理论研究中占据重要地位。随着经济发展与社会变化,身体问题已然超越了传统哲学意义上的身心概念思考,而逐渐发展成为身体社会学,与政治、历史、社会问题密切联系在一起,这一变化与其作为实践领域与社会文化变化形式密切相关。在晚期现代性社会,身体、财产、性之间的传统关系随着社会经济发展发生变化。同时,通过身体引发的伦理问题也进入社会理论的研究视野。英国当代社会理论家吉登斯将身体视为日常接触的行动系统,具有能动性特征,成为晚期现代性社会新型亲密关系的载体。本文主要结合吉登斯的关系性身体观,探讨其理论渊源并揭示与生活政治学之间的关联。

As an important dimension of social theory,body occupies an important position in western social theory in 1970 s.With the development of economy and social life,the discussion of body has surpassed the traditional philosophy of mind-body dualism,and has gradually developed into the sociology of body,which is connected with political,historical and social issues.As the practice field,the change is closely related to the change of social and cultural forms.In the late modern age,the traditional relations among body,property and sex changed with the development of economy and social life,and some ethical problems caused by body attracted the attention of social theory research.Anthony Giddens,a contemporary British social theorist,regards body as an active system of action,which is loaded with new intimate relations in the late modernity.Combined with Giddens’view of relational body,this paper analyzes its theoretical origin and reveals the relationship between his body view and his life politics theory.
