政府创新补贴对制造业企业数字化转型的影响研究

Research on the Impact of Government Innovation Subsidies on the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Enterprises

推动制造业企业数字化转型是中国迈向制造强国的重要议题。作为激励创新活动的重要政策工具,政府创新补贴如何助推数字化转型值得深入研究。本文利用2011—2021年沪深A股制造业上市公司数据进行实证分析。研究发现,政府创新补贴显著促进制造业企业数字化转型,上述结论在经过一系列稳健性检验后仍然成立。机制检验发现,政府创新补贴能够提升管理层数字化关注、突破数字技术创新制约和改善数字资源约束,从而促进制造业企业数字化转型。异质性分析表明,在非国有企业、成熟期企业以及市场化程度较高和知识产权保护水平较高的地区,政府创新补贴的促进作用更显著。本研究有助于深入理解政府创新补贴对制造业企业数字化转型的作用,为推动制造业企业实现转型升级提供了重要启示。

Promoting the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises is an important issue for China to move toward a manufacturing power.As an important policy tool to stimulate innovation activities,how government innovation subsidies can help promote digital transformation is worth studying.This paper conducts empirical analysis using the data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share manufacturing listed companies from 2011 to 2021.The research finds that government innovation subsidies significantly promote the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises.The above conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.The mechanism analysis finds that government innovation subsidies can enhance the digital attention of management,break the constraint of digital technology innovation and improve the digital resource constraint,thereby promoting the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the promotion effect of government innovation subsidies is more significant in non-state-owned enterprises,mature enterprises,and those areas with a higher degree of marketization and higher levels of intellectual property protection.This study can help to deeply understand the role of government innovation subsidies in the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises,and provides important inspiration for promoting the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing enterprises.
