Research on the Design of Traditional Straw Sandal Weaving Tools for the Long March of the Red Army

以川陕革命根据地博物馆的草鞋编制工具为研究对象,对草鞋耙、草鞋扛、草鞋扒、腰带钩、草鞋捶、草鞋槌等主要部件进行剖析,从人机工学和力学的角度解析草鞋编制工具的设计特征,挖掘传统手工艺的造物思想。草鞋编制工具在物资匮乏的战争年代满足了人民革命军在特殊时期低成本、高产量的物资需求,其就地取材、携带便捷的特点也体现了古人卓越的设计智慧,值得深入探究。

This paper selects the straw sandal weaving tools in the Museum of Sichuan Shaanxi Revolutionary as the research object, and analyzes the main components such as straw sandal rake, straw sandal shoulder, straw sandal pick, belt hook, straw sandal hammer, straw sandal hammer, etc. This paper analyzes the design features of straw sandal weaving tools from the perspective of ergonomics and mechanics, and excavates the idea of creation in traditional handicrafts. The straw sandal weaving tools met the material demand of the People’s Revolutionary Army for low cost and high output in a special period of time in the war years when materials were scarce. The tools itself is made of local materials and easy to carry, which also reflects the excellent design wisdom of the ancients, and is worthy of further exploration.
