Impact of Participation in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions on the Innovation Ability of University Students——Empirical Analysis Based on Average Treatment Effect

《中国教育现代化2035》提出推进教育现代化的十大战略任务,提升一流人才培养与创新能力是十大战略任务之一。为了提高大学生的创新和创业能力,各种创新创业大赛应运而生。该文从参加创新创业竞赛与大学生创新能力水平关系出发,采用定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,通过问卷调查收集数据,使用政策评价中经常采用的平均处理效应模型克服参赛与未参赛群体之间的异质性问题,实证分析参加创新创业大赛对大学生创新能力的真实影响。

The China Education Modernization 2035 proposes ten strategic tasks to promote education modernization,and the enhancement of first-class talent cultivation and innovation ability is one of the ten strategic tasks.In order to improve the innovation and entrepreneurial ability of university students,various innovation and entrepreneurship competitions have emerged.This paper adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods from the relationship between participation in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and the level of innovation ability of university students,collects data through questionnaires and uses the mean treatment effect model often used in policy evaluation to overcome the problem of heterogeneity between participating and non-participating groups,and empirically analyzes the real effect of participation in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions on the innovation ability of university students.
