英语教育在我国新时期的发展要求下,在教学过程中越来越多地应用到英语泛读教学法,以强化英语学科的教育成效,其中英语诗歌的融入,为英语泛读教学带来了全新的机遇和挑战,由于目前英语教育多采取传统的教学方式、学生态度等因素,使得英语诗歌在英语泛读教学中的应用效果差强人意。该文对英语诗歌的运用现状和特点进行了详细的讨论,分析了英语诗歌在英语泛读教学中的有效性运用,激发学生的学习兴趣和学习动机,提高英语水平。

With the development of the new era in our country, English education is increasingly applied to extensive reading in the teaching process to strengthen the effectiveness of English education. The integration of English poetry brings new opportunities and challenges to extensive reading teaching. At present, traditional teaching methods and students’ attitudes are mostly adopted in English education to make English poetry more effective The application of songs in extensive reading teaching is not satisfactory. This paper discusses the current situation and characteristics of the use of English poetry, analyzes the effective use of English poetry in extensive reading teaching, stimulates students’ interest and motivation in learning, and improves their English level.
