从SSCI角度探析我国藏学研究的国际话语

A Study on China's International Discourse Power in Tibetan Studies from an SSCI Perspective

从国际视角把握涉藏研究态势,从而了解国际藏学研究的演变和进展情况具有较强的现实意义。文章以SSCI为数据源,下载了2001—2021年发表的涉藏研究论文数据,用文献计量学的方法从发文量、研究机构、高产作者、研究热点的演变四个维度进行梳理,分析各个阶段的研究主题热点以及该阶段内学术影响力较高的研究成果,并对比分析高产作者的研究侧重点。研究发现,21年来,我国的发文总量居世界首位,年度发文量则从2014年开始超过其他国家,近年来涉藏领域的发文量遥遥领先,同时呈现出以下三方面特征:一是发表SSCI涉藏论文较多的中国机构不是国内常见主流藏学研究机构,二是国内SSCI涉藏论文高产作者的研究方向不在传统藏学研究领域,三是SSCI论文呈现的国际涉藏研究热点演变受中国学者研究方向的影响。文章进一步探析了其中的可能原因,并对当前我国涉藏研究的学术影响力和国际学术话语权现状进行了反思,提出了正确对待SSCI的学术影响力、重视对藏学科研项目的持续资助、积极开展多层次的交流合作的建议。

Tibetology is an academic field that has been widely concerned by the international community,and it holds significant practical value to understand the evolution and progress of international Tibetan studies research from a global perspective.This article has utilized data from the Social Sciences Citation Index(SSCI)to analyze research papers on Tibetan studies published between 2001 and 2021.Bibliometric methods have been employed to analyze from four dimensions:the volume of publications,prolific authors,research institutions,a nd the evolution of research hotspots.The study provides a multi-dimensional analysis,examining the research themes and high-impact academic achievements during each stage,as well as conducting a comparative analysis of the research focuses of prolific authors.The research findings indicate that China had the highest total number of publications from 2001 to 2021,and since 2014,it has surpassed other countries in terms of annual publications in the field of Tibetan studies.However,three notable features emerge:first,the Chinese institutions with the most SSCI Tibetan studies publications are not the mainstream research institutions of Tibetan studies in China;second,the research directions of prolific authors of SSCI papers on Tibetan studies in China are beyond the conventional field of Tibetan studies;third,the evolution of international research hotspots of Tibetan studies in SSCI papers is influenced by the research orientations of Chinese scholars.The article has further analyzed the potential reasons for these features and reflected on the academic influence and international academic discourse power of Tibetan studies in China.Proposals has also been offered for acknowledging the academic impact of SSCI,emphasizing continuous funding for research projects on Tibetan studies,and actively engaging in multi-level exchange and cooperation.
