bKav chems ka khol ma is an important document in the fragmented period of Tibet.This article regards it as one of the heroic story which relates the life of Srong-btsan sgam-po as a Buddhist king in the medieval world literature.Around this leading story,there are all kinds of plots and discourses.By selecting and setting story groups with different themes,we can analyze the function and significance of these story groups,so as to show the main ideas behind the story.This article argues that as a biography of Srong-btsan sgam-po,this book is not only for the purpose of writing his deeds,but also for the reflection and outlook of the development of Tibetan civilization by reshaping the image of Srong-btsan sgam-po.
