市场活力、创新能力对城市可持续竞争力的影响机制

The Influence Mechanism of Market Vitality and Innovation Ability on Urban Sustainable Competitiveness

以中国284个地级及以上城市为样本,运用最小二乘法(OLS)、空间计量分析法等多种方法,重点考察了创新能力和市场活力对中国城市可持续竞争力的作用及其影响机制,得出如下结论:第一,创新能力和市场活力对提升城市可持续竞争力至关重要。第二,创新能力对可持续竞争力处于中低水平的城市贡献最大,而市场活力偏弱会对可持续竞争力处于中高水平的城市造成较大的抑制作用。第三,创新能力和市场活力对城市可持续竞争力的影响具有区域异质性,创新能力对东部地区城市的促进作用最强,而市场活力偏弱会对中西部地区和东北地区城市造成较强的抑制作用。第四,城市创新能力的提升有助于促进邻近城市的可持续竞争力,而城市市场活力偏弱则会对邻近地区的可持续竞争力造成一定的负面影响。第五,城市市场活力偏弱会抑制创新能力对城市可持续竞争力的促进作用,同样也会抑制其对邻近城市可持续竞争力的促进作用。最后,根据上述结论对我国城市提升可持续竞争力提出了相应的政策建议。

Based on 284 cities in China,using OLS method and spatial econometrics,this paper focuses on the role of innovation ability and market vitality on the sustainable competitiveness of Chinese cities and its influence mechanism.The following conclusions are drawn:first,innovation ability and market vitality are essential to enhance the urban sustainable competitiveness.Second,the innovation ability contributes the most to the cities with the sustainable competitiveness in the middle and low level,and the weak market vitality will have a great inhibitory effect on the cities with the sustainable competitiveness in the middle and high level.Third,the influence of innovation ability and market vitality on urban sustainable competitiveness has regional heterogeneity,and innovation ability has the strongest effect on cities in eastern regions.Weak market vitality will have a strong inhibitory effect on cities in central and western regions and northeast regions.Fourth,the improvement of the innovation ability of the city helps to promote the sustainable competitiveness of the neighboring cities,while the weak market vitality of the city will have a certain negative impact on the sustainable competitiveness of the neighboring cities.Fifth,the weak market vitality of the city will inhibit the promotion of innovation ability to the sustainable competitiveness of the city,but also to the sustainable competitiveness of neighboring cities.Finally,according to the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the corresponding policy suggestions for improving the sustainable competitiveness of Chinese cities.
