老年居民对其子女住房贷款的代际支持行为研究

Research on Intergenerational Support Behavior of Elderly Residents to Their Children’s Housing Loans

本文基于881个微观数据实证分析了老年居民对其子女住房贷款代际支持行为的影响因素和作用机理后发现:老年居民在对其子女房贷的代际支持决策时,会受到社会资本、房贷代际支持成本以及外部不确定性风险的显著负向影响,也会受到子女反馈性支持的显著正向影响;老年居民个体层面的年龄、健康状况、农村居民户口等因素对子女房贷代际支持具有负向影响,而良好的婚姻状况、教育年限、拥有医疗保险、与子女分开居住等因素则具有正向影响;老年居民对其子女房贷的代际支持力度会因子女层面因素的异质性而发生显著不同的变化;处于紧密型和扶持型代际关系中的老年居民对其子女房贷有更大的代际支持力度。因此,适当拓宽老年居民社会资本渠道、适时健全高水平社会保障制度以及适度引导良好家风氛围建设等,有利于实现家庭养老功能对社会养老功能的辅助作用。

Based on 881 micro-data,this paper analyzes the influencing factors and mechanism of the intergenerational support behavior of elderly residents for their children’s housing loans,and finds that when elderly residents make intergenerational support decisions for their children’s housing loans,they will be significantly negatively affected by their social capital housing loan intergenerational support costs and external uncertainty risks.They will also be significantly positively affected by the feedback support of their children.The age,health status,rural resident status and other factors of the elderly residents at the individual level have negative impacts on the intergenerational support of their children’s housing loans,while factors such as good marital status,years of education,medical insurance,and living separately from their children have positive impacts.The degree of intergenerational support of elderly residents for their children’s housing loans will change significantly due to the heterogeneity of their children’s factors.Elderly residents in close and supportive intergenerational relationships have higher intergenerational support for their children’s housing loans.Therefore,appropriate expansion of social capital channels for elderly residents,timely improvement of high-level social security systems,and guidance for the construction of a good family atmosphere are conducive to the realization of the auxiliary role of the family pension function to the social pension function.
