明代嘉靖、万历两部《固原州志》,是固原现存最早的地方志书,是研究明代固原历史文化的重要史志资料,为以后志书的编修提供了可资的重要参考,更为今天研究固原历史文化提供了宝贵的基础性文献资料。

The two "Guyuan State chronicles"in Jiajing and Wanli of the Ming Dynasty are the earliest existing local chronicles in Guyuan, which are significant materials to study the history and culture of Guyuan in the Ming Dynasty. They provide important references for the future compilation and revision of local chronicles,furthermore, provide valuable basic documentation to study history and culture of current Guyuan.
