Xi Jinping closely combined with the realistic needs of economic and social development in the new era,repositioned vocational education and put forward a new standard for personnel training in the new period.Vocational and technical colleges should take the implementation of Xi Jinping’s important exposition of education as the main line,adhere to the"building people by virtue"as the fundamental task,vocational and technical colleges should scientifically locate the development goals of vocational education as an important component of national education system and human resources development,deeply grasp the vocational education mission of cultivating compound and applied talents with technical skills,and comprehensively promote the training of compound and applied talents in vocational and technical colleges.
