Deep learning refers to the learning that enables students to critically learn new ideas and facts and integrate them into the original cognitive structure,connect the old and new knowledge,transfer the existing knowledge to new situations,and make decisions and solve problems,on the basis of understanding the learning contents.Improving students’level of deep learning in college English listening and speaking teaching can help them integrate learning contents,learn actively,and promote the development of higher order thinking in English.
