Research on the Inheritance and Innovation of “Chinese School” Animation

“中国学派”动画的民族风格鲜明,题材大多源于中国古代的神话、民间故事、话本、寓言、小说等,呈现浓厚的东方神秘主义色彩。美术设计的灵感受本土传统艺术形式,如传统绘画、壁画、民间剪纸、皮影、年画、版画等启发。基于中国动画学派的发展历程来寻找“中国画派”逐渐淡出人们视野的原因,分析其民族风格动画的形成及特色,结合实践明确提出“中国学派”动画要实现题材变革与剧本创新、技术创新、审美意趣创新。

The“Chinese School”animation has a distinct national style,and most of its themes are derived from myths,folk stories,storybooks,fables and novels in ancient China,showing a strong color of Oriental mysticism.The art design is inspired by local traditional art forms such as traditional paintings,murals,folk paper-cuts,shadow puppets,New Year paintings,prints and so on.Based on the development course of animation of Chinese School,this paper tries to find the reason why“Chinese painting”gradually faded out of people’s vision,analyzes the formation and characteristics of national style animation,and puts forward clearly that“Chinese School”animation should realize theme change,and innovations in script,technology and aesthetic interest.
