The methods of providing ideological and political education in the course of line dance have been worked out based on the analysis of the characteristics of the course of line dance and the advantages of providing ideological and political education in the teaching of line dance.Through teaching the students about healthy China initiative,patriotism,sportsmanship and innovative spirit in class,importance has been attached to the ideological and political education and its value orientation in the classroom teaching of line dance.The module of"I love you China"has been taken as an example to show how the ideological and political education can be provided in the course of line dance,thus being a source of reference for its promotion in physical education.
