医药卫生类期刊举办线上学术会议存在的2个主要问题及改进措施——以《中国药业》的实践经验为例 被引量:5

Two common problems and solutions in online academic virtual conferences held by medical journals:taking the experiences of China Pharmaceuticals as an example

摘要 新冠肺炎疫情背景下,医药卫生类期刊举办线上学术会议不仅能提升期刊品牌影响力和学术质量,还能为医药学科研究成果的传播赋能,将医药学信息和抗疫经验及时、准确、全面地传递至医药卫生人员。但在实践中也有其局限性:参会人员缺乏沉浸感和交流互动,会议规模与会议时长难以平衡。受疫情影响,《中国药业》举办的学术会议2020年初也从“线下”模式转型为“线上”模式,截至2021年12月共举办了42场线上学术会议,取得了一定成效和经验。本文以医药卫生类期刊举办线上学术会议亟待解决的2个主要问题为例,分享《中国药业》的实践经验:通过举办虚拟圆桌会议、提前开通/延后关闭会议通道、增设互动环节、为参会人员组建微信群等方式提升参会人员的沉浸感和互动交流;通过制订合理的会议议程、“拆零”大型会议等方式平衡会议时长和规模,旨在为其他医药卫生类期刊提供借鉴和参考。 Affected by the corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic worldwide,online academic conferences held by medical journals could not only help to improve the influence and academic quality of the journals,but also promote the dissemination of research achievements in medicine to medical professionals in a timely,accurate and comprehensive manner.However,there are some inconvenience,such as lack of immersion and interaction between the speakers and the audience,and difficulties in balancing the scale and duration of the conferences.For our journal,China Pharmaceuticals,we have also changed the conference from“offline”to“online”since 2020.By the end of December 2021,we have held 42 online academic conferences from which have gained a lot of experiences and learned some lessons.Here we share our experiences in solving the above two problems.Firstly,we improved the participants’sense of immersion and interaction through launching virtual round-table discussion,opening the conference channel in advance or closing it later,adding interactive links,and establishing a WeChat group for participants.Secondly,we tried to balance the length and scale of the conference by formulating an appropriate agenda and splitting large scale conferences into smaller ones.
