Utilizing Laban Movement Analysis and Labanotation to Analyzing the Restaging of Rooms

文章根据拉班动作分析、拉班舞谱的重建经验,探讨美国现代舞大师安娜·索克罗经典名作《房间》。重建者依据舞谱符号、舞台调度图、音乐说明、原创者的理念,引导舞者重现完整经典作品。文章通过描述拉班舞谱重建师与安娜·索克罗密切合作的过程,结合国际动作分析师的内容训练,将拉班创立的两大理论交叉运用于将舞蹈作品的片段重建,借此说明舞蹈人如何活用拉班学理于表演与创作研究。

Utilizing my background as the Laban Movement Analyst and Labanotation Restager,the paper intends to search into the“Rooms”,choreographed by Modern Dance pioneer,Anna Sokolow.As the Labanotation Restager,I followed the notation symbols,stage plans,music notes and the ideas set by the choreographer written in Labanotation,to present the original“Rooms”.Additionally,I was able to utilize the Laban Movement Analysis to dig into the quality of the movements that was not clearly written in Labanotation.Moreover,my close contact with Sokolow and my research into the historical materials are the plus in restaging the most authentic“Rooms”.It is the hope that the paper will enrich the future Labanotation Restager to understand the importance of Laban’s two most outstanding contributions in the field of dance.
