鸭绿江上游积石墓——坡口墓群2016年发掘简报

The Stone-Piled Tombs of the Upper Yalu River Valley:Report on the 2016 Excavation of the Pokou Cemetery

鸭绿江上游积石墓——坡口墓群位于吉林省临江市四道沟镇坡口村西南约0.5千米,五道沟沟口南侧朝向西北的山坡和坡下的平地中,墓群所在地西邻鸭绿江,北濒五道沟河,东、南倚靠山体,由于墓群距离现代村屯较近,且处于现代耕地范围内,破坏较为严重,墓葬多发现于坡地上的耕地内,坡下的平地中仅发现3座墓葬,位于旱田之内,水田区域未发现有墓葬。地理坐标为东经127°3’28.6",北纬41°43’49",海拔约为393米(图一)。

To cooperate with the drafting of the heritage protection project of the stone-piled burial groups of the Upper Yalu River Valley in Baishan Municipality,a team composed of researchers from the Jilin Archaeological Research Institute,the Bureau of Heritage Protection and Management of Baishan Municipality,the Cultural Management Institute of Linjiang City and the School of Archaeology of Jilin University carried out archaeological survey and excavation between June and November 2016 on the Pokou Cemetery,one of the major stone-piled burials groups in this region.During this season,seven stone-piled tombs were excavated,and over 50 artefacts were unearthed.This study provides important information for the development of the heritage protection project of the stone-piled burial groups of the Upper Yalu River Valley,as well as for the research on the stone-piled burials.
