无形资源空间对中小企业双元创新的影响研究——政府补助的调节作用

The Influence of Intangible Resource Space on Ambidextrous Innovation of SME: Moderating Effects of Government Subsidies

中小企业资源空间已从自有资源拓展至更大范围,形成由资源能力、权力和效率边界共同界定的无形资源空间,并影响不同类别的创新活动。政府补助旨在提升环境资源的宽裕性,是企业重要的外部资源来源,因而构成中小企业无形资源空间作用实现的重要情境变量。基于此,以2009—2019年中小板和创业板上市公司为研究样本,分析并检验无形资源空间对探索式、开发式创新的作用,以及政府补助在其中的调节效应。研究发现:中小企业不同维度无形资源边界的创新作用存在差异,其中资源权力、效率边界的拓展分别有助于探索式、开发式创新,而资源能力边界的拓展同时对二者有利;政府补助减弱资源权力边界对探索式创新的影响,却增强资源能力、效率边界对开发式创新的影响。

The available resources of small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) have already expanded from internal self-owned resources to a wide range, forming an intangible resource space defined by the boundaries of resource competence, power and efficiency, thereby affecting different types of innovation activities. As an important source of external resources for enterprises, government subsidy aims to improve the abundance of environmental resources. With listed companies of SMEs Board and ChiNext Board from 2009 to 2019 as samples, the effects of different boundaries of intangible resource space on exploratory and exploitative innovation and the moderating effect of government subsidies are tested and analyzed. The results show that intangible resource space’s effects on innovation vary. The expansion of resource power boundary promotes exploratory innovation;the expansion of resource efficiency boundary promotes exploitative innovation;the expansion of resource competence boundary is conducive to both exploratory and exploitative innovation. Government subsidies negatively moderate the impact of resource power boundary on exploratory innovation and positively moderate the impact of resource competence and efficiency boundary on exploitative innovation.
