Australian Party Politics and Relations between the CPC and Australian Political Parties

澳大利亚实行议会制君主立宪制,政党在澳政治生活中发挥着重要作用。澳大利亚在移植英国政党制度的基础上,经过百年的发展完善,形成相对成熟的政党制度,政党政治的特点突出。工党和联盟党(自由党与国家党联盟)轮流执政,其他小党此消彼长,共同对澳大利亚政治产生深刻影响。中国共产党同澳大利亚多个政党长期以来保持良好交往。双方交往起步较早,经过几个阶段的发展日臻成熟,为国家关系发展发挥了积极作用。本文首先对澳大利亚政党进行概述,介绍其主要情况和突出特点;其次,对澳大利亚政党政治的主要特点和动向进行分析;再次,将中国共产党同澳大利亚多个政党的交往划分为四个时期,对双方交往内容和特点分别进行归纳分析;最后,分析总结了中澳政党交往的重要意义和作用。

Political parties play an important role in Australian politics.Australian party system,which was built on the model of British party system,is relatively mature after development of more than 100 years.The labour Party and the Liberal-National coalition,the major parties that are in power in turn,and the minor parties with increasing power all have profound influence on Australian politics.The CPC has been maintaining frequent exchanges with several Australian political parties.The relations are gradually mature through the development of several periods and play a positive role in China-Australia relations.This article starts by a brief introduction of Australian political parties,which is followed by an analysis of the features of Australian party politics.Then it elaborates the four periods of the exchanges between the CPC and Australian political parties and demonstrates the important role of party exchanges in China-Australia relations.
