What can We Learn from Australia to Speed up the FTA Negotiation with the Gulf Cooperation Council?

自由贸易协定(FTA)作为多边规则允许下的经济体间的经贸合作保障,得到了各方的广泛认可。中澳两国不仅签有双边的自贸协定,也都与海湾合作委员会(GCC)推动FTA谈判。本文阐述和分析了澳大利亚与GCC的FTA谈判背景与进程,总结归纳澳在谈判各阶段的主要做法,分析了其各类活动的启示,并在货物贸易、服务贸易、投资、规则和区域一体化等方面探讨了澳大利亚-GCC自贸协定对中国的影响。

Free Trade Agreement(FTA)has gotten wide-range recognition as the platform permitted by the World Trade Organization(WTO)principles.China and Australia has concluded FTA and are negotiating FTA with the Gulf Cooperation Committee(GCC)both.This article discuss and analyze the background and process of the FTA negotiation between Australia and GCC,including the practices and experiences.The effects of FTA in the fields of trade-in-goods,trade-inservices,investment,rule competition and regional integration are discussed then to identify the possible impact of Australian-GCC FTA on China.
