The study of the anthropology of law has a very distinctive character and focuses on the study of the legal modes of control of the Other.Within a country,it focuses on the influence of cultural patterns with local characteristics on national law.The model of legal control studied by legal anthropology focuses on the problem of legal control in relatively underdeveloped places,where the system of legal control is simple and primitive.Legal anthropology is based on information obtained through empirical research methods,such as fieldwork,and strives for authentic and reliable material,with theory derived from the inductive analysis of empirical material.
