Study on Enhancing College Counselors’Competency in Cultivating People with Morality in the New Era

高校辅导员具有思政教师和管理干部的双重身份,既是大学生成长成才的人生导师,也是大学生健康生活的知心朋友,在落实新时代立德树人根本任务上的作用关键、使命光荣。总体而言,落实立德树人根本任务、构建思想政治工作体系和遵循学生成长成才规律分别是辅导员做好学生教育管理工作的根本遵循、重要内容和关键要点。然而,新时代学生教育管理工作面临新风险新挑战,如学生培养路径呈现繁杂性、意识形态领域斗争呈现艰巨性和校园安全维稳呈现不确定性。因此,基于辅导员立德树人胜任力提升,应当:立足为党育人、为国育才的政治高度,坚定理想信念;立足以心交心、以德育德的育人角度,加强品德修养;立足担当为要、实干为先的价值尺度,增强本领能力;立足系统集成、协同创新的体系维度,提升发展境界。

College counselors have the dual identity of ideological and political teachers and management cadres.As both life mentors and intimate friends for students’growth and healthy life,the counselors play a key role in the implementation of the fundamental task of in the new era,bearing a glorious mission.Generally speaking,the implementation of the fundamental task of cultivating students with morality,constructing ideological and political work system and following the law of students’growth are respectively the fundamental guidelines,important contents and key points to a counselor’s successful work in student education and management.However,the education and management of students in the new era are facing new risks and challenges,such as the complexity of the paths of student cultivation,the arduousness in ideological fields and the uncertainties of campus security and stability.So,to promote counselors’competency in cultivating students with morality,they need to apply themselves to the political height of cultivating talent for the Party with firm ideals and convictions.They need to improve their self-cultivation from the perspective of cultivating students by heart with morality.They need to enhance their capacities based on the values of taking responsibility and giving priority to practical work.They need to enhance their development realm based on the dimension of system integration and collaborative innovation.
