不平衡发展问题是当代西方社会理论的"空间转向"的重要议题,也是马克思政治经济学批判当代化的重要路径之一,彰显了马克思政治经济学批判的内在张力。以"资本一般"的历史科学分析为主要任务的《资本论》及其手稿,从显性议题、方法论与隐性逻辑等方面为不平衡发展问题预留了理论空间,并呈现为"抽象"与"具体"、"同一性"与差异不平衡性的内在张力。此即作为生产方式本质规定性的抽象模型分析与经验具体研讨、资本主义同质化趋势与不平衡发展、以及劳动力与社会关系再生产的不平衡性等张力。
