巴西人参提取液对家蚕生长发育的影响

Effects of Pfaffia paniculata Extract on the Growth and Development of Silkworm (Bombyx mori)

摘要 家蚕已被作为一种模式生物广泛应用于各种药物效应的研究中。巴西人参作为一种药用植物于2001年引进国内种植,关于其对家蚕的生长发育影响尚未见报道。本研究以不同浓度巴西人参提取液添食五龄家蚕,结果表明,低浓度的巴西人参提取液对家蚕体重具有一定促进作用,但效果不明显,而高浓度的巴西人参提取液对家蚕体重具有显著抑制作用;各浓度添食组对家蚕消化率的影响不明显,但巴西人参添食组家蚕对桑叶的食下量减少,且浓度越高,食下量减少越明显;添食巴西人参提取液对家蚕营茧功能具有明显的抑制作用;添食10^(4)×和10^(2)×巴西人参提取液对雌蚕和雄蚕茧质的影响差异不明显,而添食10^(3)×巴西人参提取液对雌雄家蚕茧质影响较大,该浓度的巴西人参提取液可降低雄蚕茧层率,而对雌蚕的茧层率则具有一定的提高作用;此外,巴西人参提取液浓度与五龄家蚕幼虫死亡率、龄期及丝腺发育均呈现正相关关系,添食浓度越高,幼虫死亡率越高,龄期延长及丝腺萎缩效应越显著。本研究阐明了巴西人参对动物生长发育的潜在影响,有利于对其食用安全性进行初步评价,为其在国内进一步的开发利用提供参考,同时本项目以家蚕为模型研究巴西人参对生长发育影响的方式可为研究其他可食用材料的生物效应提供借鉴。 Bombyx mori has been widely used as a model organism to study the effects of various drugs.As a medicinal plant,Pfaffia paniculata was introduced into China in 2001,and its effect on the growth and development of Bombyx mori has not been reported.In this study,different concentrations of Pfaffia paniculata extract were used to feed fifth-instar silkworm.The results showed that the low concentration of Pfaffia paniculata extract had a certain promoting effect on the silkworm weight,but the effect was not obvious,while the high concentration of Pfaffia paniculata extract had a significant inhibitory effect on the body weight of silkworm;and the digestibility of Bombyx mori was not significantly affected by different concentrations of Pfaffia paniculata extract,but the amount of food intake decreased,and the higher the concentration,the more obvious the decrease;the extract of Pfaffia paniculata had obvious inhibitory effect on cocoon management of silkworm;the effects of 10^(4)×and 10^(2)×Pfaffia paniculata extracts on cocoon quality of female and male silkworms were not obvious,but 10^(3)×Pfaffia paniculata extract had a great effect on the cocoon quality of male and female silkworm,which could reduce the cocoon layer rate of male silkworm and improve the cocoon layer rate of female silkworm.In addition,We also found that the mortality,instar stage and silk gland development of the fifth-instar silkworm larvae all showed a positive correlation with the concentration of Pfaffia paniculata extract.The higher the feeding concentration,the higher the larval mortality,the longer the instar and the silk gland atrophy.This study elucidated the potential impact of Pfaffia paniculata on animal growth and development,which was conducive to the preliminary evaluation of its food safety,and provided a reference for its further development and utilization in China.Meanwhile,this project used silkworm as a model to study the influence of Pfaffia paniculata on growth and development,which can provide reference for the study of biological effects of other edible materials.
