University Library Volunteers are an important force in library service.Volunteers are not only the link between the library and readers,but also the representatives who are brave to contribute and willing to public welfare.This paper discusses the necessity,goal and method of the ideological and political education of volunteers in University Library from the perspective of the educational function of the library.
