摘要
关于西方公共艺术的发展脉络的研究已经取得了丰富的成果,奠定这些研究的基础范式也具有广泛的共识。然而,无论是从公共领域、公共空间、公共性、共同体,抑或是公/私二分等来自跨学科概念出发的研究,对于把握公共艺术在当代的发展仍有力所不逮之处,包括未能对公共艺术与更大范围的艺术之间的关系予以足够的关注。西方艺术在当代的发展与围绕城市、人和人类命运展开的具有普遍性的方向直接相关。以“城市”“人”与“人类命运”为关键语境,并将公共艺术置于艺术史与社会发展的共生逻辑中,有助于呈现西方公共艺术在当代更为完整的发展面貌,勾勒其在世俗时间意义下表现出的“直接性”特征,同时为中国语境下的公共艺术研究提供反观之境:公共艺术与更广泛的艺术相关,也关乎具有社会与文化意义的普遍性问题。
Research on the development of Western public art in the Chinese academy has gained rich achievements,and there is a broad consensus on the paradigms that grounds these researches.However,research from interdisciplinary concepts such as the public sphere,public space,publicity,community,and the public/private dichotomy is still inadequate for grasping the contemporary development of public art,including a failure to pay sufficient attention to the relationship between public art and art on a larger scale.The development of contemporary Western art is directly related to a universal orientation around city,human,and human destiny.Taking"city","human"and"human destiny"as key terms and placing public art within the symbiotic logic of art history and social development contributes to a more complete understanding of the development of contemporary Western public art.It helps to present a complete understanding of contemporary Western public art,to outline its"immediacy"in the secular sense of time,At the same time,it provides a space for public art research in the Chinese context,which is necessary for us to reflect on the fact that public art is related to art more broadly and is also concerned with universal issues of social and cultural significance.
