Professor Xu Wuji believes that the disease is mostly a disease of deficiency and excess,which is mainly caused by deficiency of liver and kidney and characterized by vascular stasis.Therefore,the clinical treatment is based on the theory of“both muscle and bone”in traditional Chinese medicine bone injury,emphasizing the simultaneous treatment of liver and kidney,supplemented by promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,treating according to the syndrome,and supplementing the treatment of relaxing meridians,dredging collaterals,warming yang and removing dampness.Combined with the concept of medication along meridians,combination of dynamic and static,and internal and external coordination,it has excellent efficacy in the treatment of discogenic low back pain.
