Clinical Experience of Professor Xu Jianzhong in Treating Gout

痛风是常见的晶体沉积相关性疾病,随着经济发展,其发病率持续上升。痛风发作时疼痛剧烈,久之还会出现关节畸形、肾脏损害。目前西医对该病的治疗以降尿酸、镇痛消炎为主,有一定不良反应且疾病易反复。徐健众教授认为痛风初起多为饮食不节,摄入过度,损伤脾胃,脾胃运化失常而致。徐师临证过程中常以脾胃为中心,重视脾胃的功能,提出补脾不如运脾思路,认为脾胃以运为健,脾虚不受补,并根据重庆的特点因地制宜,灵活进行加减化裁,临床常以健脾除湿、行气散瘀、消食导滞等法达到运脾目的。

Gout is a common crystal deposition-associated disease,and its incidence continues to rise with economic development.The pain is intense when gout attack,and long time will also appear joint deformity,kidney damage.At present,the treatment of western medicine for this disease is mainly to reduce uric acid,analgesia and anti-inflammatory,which has certain adverse reactions and the disease is easy to repeat.Professor Xu Jianzhong believes that gout is mostly a poor diet,excessive intake,damage to the spleen and stomach,and abnormal function of the spleen and stomach.In the process of certification,Professor Xu Jianzhong often takes“spleen and stomach”as the center,attaches attention to the function of the spleen and stomach,and puts forward the idea of“making the spleen transport is better than replenishing the spleen”.He believes that the spleen and stomach are transported as health.If the spleen and stomach which is weak cannot bear the supplement.Professor Xu Jianzhong often flexibly adds and subtracts due to regional differences according to the characteristics of Chongqing.Clinically,he often uses methods such as strengthening the spleen and dehumidification,dissipating qi stasis,and eliminating food and hysteresis to achieve the purpose of activating spleen.
