基于轻量MIMO毫米波雷达的高精度检测与定位

High Precision Detection and Positioning Based on Lightweight MIMO Millimeter Wave Radar

摘要 为了兼顾毫米波雷达轻量化与高分辨率检测的需求,设计了一种基于MIMO体制的轻量化毫米波雷达。通过优化阵列天线的设计,对天线线阵的各个参数进行设计与仿真,给出长短距离模式MIMO雷达天线布阵,能够较大提升雷达的距离和角度探测性能,实现了在较小的体积内达到高分辨率的探测能力。同时,对距离速度单元检测与目标位置估计算法进行改进,利用二维FFT和相位差法,确保了雷达在城市快速公路等复杂场景中的探测距离达到400 m。通过实测验证,轻量型MIMO毫米波雷达在多运动目标的情况下,依然能保持稳定的探测与跟踪能力。对比传统的毫米波雷达,它在保持高分辨率的同时,显著提升了探测距离。 To balance the needs for lightweight design and high-resolution detection in millimeter wave radars,a lightweight MIMO millimeter wave radar was designed.By optimizing the design of array antenna,designing and simulating various parameters of antenna line array,and providing a long and short distance mode MIMO radar antenna layout,the radar’s distance and angle detection performance could be greatly improved.That achieved high-resolution detection capability in a small volume.Simultaneously,the distance velocity unit detection and the target position estimation algorithms were improved.By utilizing two-dimensional FFT and phase difference methods,the detection range of radar in complex scene(e.g.,urban expressway)was up to 400 m.The practical experiments result indicates that the lightweight MIMO millimeter wave radar can still maintain stable detection and tracking capabilities in the presence of multiple moving targets.Compared with traditional millimeter wave radar,it significantly improves detection range while maintaining high resolution.
