艺术语言的隔空邂逅——记北京国际音乐节歌剧《浪子的历程》中国首演

On the China premiere of The Rake’s Progress

2021年10月9日,第24届北京国际音乐节如期开幕。音乐节的歌剧单元向来是展现国际先锋戏剧理念的阵地,以制作和上演现代歌剧而闻名。今年恰逢现代音乐巨匠斯特拉文斯基逝世50周年,虽然他创作过诸多音乐戏剧作品,但其成熟的、"纯正"歌剧形态的作品唯有《浪子的历程》。

A semi-staged version of the English-language opera The Rake’s Progress,a joint production of the BMF and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra,was presented at the 24^(th) Beijing Music Festival(BMF)on October 12.The year 2021 marks the 50^(th) anniversary of the death of Russian-born composer Stravinsky and the 70^(th) anniversary of the opera’s world premiere.This festival production is the first performance of this opera in East Asia.
