浅析《红楼梦》中补天遗石和神瑛侍者的关系

A Tentative Analysis of the Relationship Between the Discarded Stone of Nvwa and Shenying Shizhe the Immortal

《红楼梦》第一回女娲补天神话和神瑛绛珠神话中的补天遗石和神瑛侍者的关系问题,在红学界一直争论不休。为了厘清这一问题,本文考察了文本内证、脂批和相关旁证,在此基础上得出的初步结论认为尽管二者现世的化身通灵宝玉和贾宝玉之间确实有密切联系,但是二者基本上是相互独立的,前者代表作者,后者则为小说主人公的前身。

There are two major mythical stories in the novel Dreams of the Red Chamber,namely,the story about the immortal Shenying Shizhe watering the withering plant Jiangzhu Cao to save its life and that of the Goddess Nvwa patching up the cracked sky.In the academia,it has long been disputed about the relationship between Shenying Shizhe and the sole stone unused in the great undertaking of Nvwa.To clarify this issue,this thesis.investigated the text of the novel,the annotations of Zhiyanzhai,and other related evidence so as to reach the preliminary conclusion that the two entities even though they are closely related in their next lives,they are basically independent,with the former representing the prelife of the protagonist of the novel and the latter the author himself.
