Exploring the China-Europe Export Porcelain Trade from the Artifacts Found on the Shipwreck of Wanjiao No.1

碗礁Ⅰ号沉船遗址的出水遗物以瓷器为主。在这17000余件瓷器中,大部分为青花瓷,并有少量的五彩、青花釉里红、单色釉瓷器等,具有清康熙时期景德镇生产瓷器的典型特点,为外销瓷研究提供了重要的材料。随着康熙开禁和欧洲人参与瓷器贸易程度的加深,中国瓷器贸易达到了一个顶峰。同时,中欧瓷器贸易展现出"对接式"贸易的特点,新的瓷器品种被创造出来,呈现出"两个开始转变"的趋势。

The artifacts excavated from the wreck of the Wanjiao No.1 ship mainly consist of porcelain.Among the more than 17,000 pieces discovered onboard,most of them are blue and white porcelain,with a small number of multicolored,blue and white with red glaze,and monochromatic glaze porcelain,among others.They contain the typical characteristics of products from the kilns of Jingdezhen during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty.With the lifting of the maritime ban and increased European participation,the Chinese porcelain trade reached its peak after 1684.This discovery provides valuable new resources for the study of export porcelain.
