Some Thoughts about the Construction of Police Team in the New Situation

我国经济迅速发展,全面深化改革进入深水区和攻坚期,各类社会矛盾不断出现,公安民警面临的执法环境日趋复杂,暴力抗法、侮辱诽谤、恶意投诉及网络舆论暴力等现象时有发生,不仅影响了公安工作的正常开展,给民警的身心健康带来一定伤害,而且也损害了人民警察的执法权威和公安机关的执法公信力,给公安机关维护社会稳定工作带来巨大挑战。疫情期推动公安队伍建设,着力营造和谐稳定的社会治安环境,是当前急需思考的问题。

With China’s rapid economic development,the comprehensive deepening reform having entered a deep-water zone and reached a new critical point,the continuously emerging social contradictions make the law-enforcement environment faced by the police officers more complicated.The phenomena such as violent resistance against law,insulting or slandering police officers,malicious complaints and violence caused by online police-related public opinions occur from time to time,which have affected the normal development of public security work,harmed police officers’physical and mental health,damaged the police’s law-enforcement authority and the public security organs’law-enforcement credibility,and brought great challenges to the public security organs in maintaining social stability.How to continuously accelerate the construction of the police team during the COVID-19 pandemic and put forth effort to create a harmonious and stable social security environment is an urgent problem we should think about.
