今天的社会就其本质而言,是一个象征社会,是一种修辞环境。人本质上也是象征或修辞的动物,象征的最重要表现形式是通过话语来构建,象征的行动是在符号化过程中实施的。语用层面的象征与作为辞格的象征有着不同之处,作为辞格的象征是一种文学文体上的修辞,而语言上的象征则是语言的修辞性使用,并不仅仅是纯粹地传递信息。因此对于当今这个充满符号化的修辞社会,本文将运用修辞批评理论对各种修辞现象做出批评,探究这些修辞现象背后深层次的原因与构成方式。分析象征行为和象征符号的话语效果,解读修辞文本和人们的象征行为。从概念认知与修辞认知,关联理论与象征以及象征在言语交际中的施事功能等几个方面,呈现出隐藏在修辞话语背后的种种象征行为与社会关系。

Today’s society is a symbolic society,a rhetorical environment.The most important of expression is the construction of discourse,which is the symbol of human being and the action of symbolization.The symbol of pragmatics is different to figures of speech,as a symbol of figures of speech is a kind of literary rhetoric,and symbolic language is the rhetorical use of language,not only simply convey information.Nowadays is a symbolic rhetoric society,so this thesis uses rhetorical criticism theory to criticize various rhetorical phenomena,explores to the deep reasons and the ways of the formation of these rhetorical phenomena,analyzes the symbolic and symbolic effects of discourse,interprets the rhetorical text and the symbolic behavior of people.From the concept of cognitive and cognitive rhetoric,relevance theory and symbol,tries to find symbolic and social relations.
