On the So-called Song Dynasty Rubbings of the Manuscript Written by Zhong Yao and Wang Xizhi in Regular Script in the Sequel to The Precious Collection of the Stone Moat

《石渠宝笈·初编》中未收录碑帖拓本,为补其不足,《续编》专设“法帖一门”将拓本增入。现故宫博物院还保存有当初书籍中所记载者,特拣一册原名“宋拓”《锺王楷帖》分析考证,考递藏经历、辨拓本年代、探《续编》辑录者专擅,辨别真赝,去伪存真,纠正误识。

Rubbings of steles and manuscript had not been included in the Qing imperial catalog The Precious Collection of the Stone Moat(Shiqu Baoji)until the publication of its sequel as an independent category.Some of the works included in the sequel are still in the collection of the Palace Museum,one of which is titled the The Song-Dynasty Rubbings of the Manuscript written by Zhong Yao and Wang Xizhi in Regular Script.The essay is dedicated to the research on its provenance and date,as well as the professional specialties of the compilers.The author also examines evidence and offers methods to determine authenticity and detect forgeries in order to correct existing misunderstandings.
