蒋元城生平及交游考

Study on Jiang Yuancheng’s Life and Social Network

乾嘉时期,苏州地区鉴藏名家辈出,蒋元城身在其中可谓名不见经传。学界对他少有关注,还未有学者对其人及鉴藏情况进行专门研究。但蒋元城在当时的鉴藏圈中颇为活跃,名号屡见于时人文集、题跋,从中可知其藏品颇多,精品迭出。本文拟刻意搜求蒋元城相关材料,钩稽其生平及家世,梳理他与同时代颇负声望的鉴藏家,诸如潘奕隽、陆恭和钱大昕等人的交游情况。希望通过对蒋元城其人及交游网络的全面考察,为进一步研究蒋元城的鉴藏情况做好相关铺垫。

During the Qianlong(r.1736-1795)and Jiaqing(r.1796-1820)reigns,there were many famous art connoisseurs and collectors in Suzhou,among whom Jiang Yuancheng was not well-known.The academic community has paid little attention to him,while no dedicated research with regard to him and his activities of artistic connoisseurship and collection has been conducted.However,Jiang was quite active in this field at that time,and his name was frequently mentioned in contemporary collected works and inscriptions,from which his extensive art collection with ample masterpieces can be revealed.This article deliberately searches for relevant materials on this collector,to trace his life and family background,and to sort out his contacts with prestigious contemporaries,such as Pan Yijun,Lu Gong,and Qian Daxin.It is hoped that a comprehensive investigation of Jiang and his network of friends can pave the way for further research on Jiang’s collection activities.
