清代雕漆云龙纹“乾隆御稿”箱的修复

Conserving the Qing-Dynasty Pair of Lacquered Manuscript Cases with Carved Cloud and Dragon Design Containing Qianlong Emperor’s Manuscripts

清代雕漆云龙纹"乾隆御稿"箱专为盛放乾隆御稿制作,箱子盖面镌刻"乾隆御稿",里面较完整地保存了乾隆帝在皇子、皇帝、太上皇各个时期的诗文手稿,御稿箱表面的纹饰、雕工非常精美,有其特殊的历史意义、实用价值和艺术价值。本文整理了这对雕漆御稿箱的修复过程,希望对日后此类文物的修复提供借鉴。

The pair of lacquered cases carved with cloud and dragon design is custom-made for the Qing-dynasty(1644-1911)Qianlong Emperor(r.1736-1795)to store his manuscripts.The front cover of the case is carved with the characters“Imperial Manuscripts of the Qianlong Emperor”(Qianlong yugao).It contains almost all his manuscripts of poems and essays at different stages of his life as imperial prince,emperor and emperor emeritus.The design and carving craftsmanship in the surface of the case are very exquisite,embodying their special historical significance,functional and artistic value.This article records the conservation of this pair of cases for the purpose of presenting one model for future renovations of the similar objects.
