马衡先生的篆刻观与印作特色

Ma Heng’s View on Seal Cutting and Features of His Works

马衡先生去世后子女遵其遗愿,将先生毕生所藏文物捐献国家,后由国家文物局拨交故宫博物院收藏。其中有不少是马衡先生所刻印章。这批印章实物使我们了解到马衡先生深厚的篆刻功力与艺术成就。本文就故宫所藏马衡篆刻作品介绍其在篆刻方面的理论与实践。

After Ma Heng(1881-1955)passed away,his family fulfilled his wish and donated all his collections to the state,which were later transferred into the Palace Museum collection by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage,including seals cut by Ma Heng himself.These seals shed light on his virtuosity in seal cutting and artistic attainment in general.This article introduces his theory and practice in seal cutting through his works collected by the Palace Museum.
